Cherry def. Victoria in a singles match
Our thoughts after the cut:
In keeping with their terrible photoshoot streak, WWE.com has posted a new one featuring Melina brandishing the unfortunate prop of cotton candy. What’s with the WWE’s obsession with food-related photoshoots? It’s an all-around unflattering look. You’d think a more “covered up” look would be a lot more flattering than this one is – maybe it’s … Read more

Cherry def. Victoria in a singles match
Our thoughts after the cut:
Take five of WWE’s most useless Divas (barring Ashley) and what do you got? A Diva Dance Off. Just add water, girl on girl kissing and you’re about two steps away from softcore porn. Providing hosting services is “The Tazz”, as new ECW announcer Mike Adamle so affectionately calls him. Check it out: Did anyone … Read more

Mickie def. Beth Phoenix to become the new Women’s Champion! They do “big fight” introductions. Afterwards, Mickie cries with joy and Ashley and Maria come to congratulate her.
Our thoughts after the cut:
Hurrah! The Women’s Championship will be contested tonight on RAW, between Beth Phoenix and Mickie James. The match will take place before a sold out crowd in my hometown of London, England. Now, I hate to embrace a stereotype but I think British modesty has rubbed off on WWE as they finally begin to stop … Read more
Kelly, Layla, Melina and Mickie appeared on Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp last night and as head instructor said, it was more like booty camp! At ‘Mania and the week leading up to it, emotions ran high and history was made… Do we forget that? Do we take those moments for granted and not realize what we are witnessing and what we are a part of – WWE history? I really hope not.
The Hall of Fame is so incredible and I look forward to it each year. I cry like a baby and I am so overwhelmed with emotions. I am filled with pride and am inspired. When I hear about what the inductees went through in their lives and how they saw the business, I feel for them and it reassures me that they went through the same things that I went through and am going through… And look! We are there celebrating their greatness and thanking them for what they have done. Instantly, I am more motivated than I have ever been before.
I admire each and every one of the Hall of Famers, but I always look forward to the women who are inducted the most. There are so few women in wrestling, so few getting inducted. On that night, you hear stories about their journey and you hear about the person they are and were. I look forward to hearing the women because there is no one better to identify with and to thank for why I am here than those women who made this all possible.
It looks like SmackDown! continues to be the “one to watch” having read this week’s spoilers, which can be found below. Highlight to read:
Victoria introduced Natalia Neidhart. They did a video package on her and put over she was Jim Neidhart’s daughter. She cut a promo and did his trademark laugh. Victoria defeated Michelle McCool after Neidhart distracted her.

WWE.com has posted a new Candice photoshoot – entitled “April Showers” – that just oozes class and subtleness. I mean, the only way these photos could be more dashing is if Candice was wearing a top hat and smoking from an old-fashioned corncob pipe. Clearly, WWE’s photo direction is on another level of classy, but … Read more
It’s no secret that I’m partial to some Layla, the Diva continues to grow and shine in the debilitating women’s division that is WWE’s. I guess top brass doesn’t pay attention to ECW (actually, come to think of it – does anyone?) otherwise they’d probably fire the show’s head writer for God forbid, allowing Layla … Read more

The seven time Women’s Champion loves the Knockout division – branding it “amazing” and that she loves the fact all the girls really do work. Trish also talks of returning to Monday Night … Read more
Since last June, SmackDown! has seen a surge in Diva activity, largely due to the landing of Torrie Wilson and Victoria during the WWE Draft. Thanks to the almighty YouTube, we’ve found a clip of tonight’s Diva segment from SmackDown! which features the debut of Nattie Neidhart. Somewhat reminiscent, though not as affective as Krissy Vaine‘s debut attacking Torrie last September, if you ask me. I was taking a look at a new WWE.com photoshoot featuring Lilian Garcia, and it got me thinking – should Lilian have a more prominent role on WWE television? It seems as though she’s been around forever, but hasn’t contributed much to the overall product. On one hand, she has the looks and charisma – … Read more

For the first time since November, Melina has penned a new “Internet Confessions of a True Diva” blog on WWE.com, focusing on BunnyMania and why she thinks wrestling should take precedence over Playboy:
You have to understand, I may not write very frequently, but you know that when I do write something it’s what I feel with my heart and it’s what I strongly believe. I am very passionate in everything that I do. My writing, my workouts, my entrance, my wrestling and in love. That is me. When you see me, you are going to get just that: MELINA. I will continue to say, whether you love me or hate me, you can’t help but watch me!
My message about Playboy is … if you want to do it, that’s fine. If that is your dream, your goal and your personal achievement for YOUR life, that’s fine. Just know, that isn’t mine. I am a physical person, so it makes perfect sense for me to choose wrestling. I am a woman of action and never want to be one of those women in distress, if I can help it.
I have trained for eight years and I continue to train to better myself in this physical art form that I love with all my heart. And I will fight for it and work hard to be great at it with everything I have.
